Feet Over Manhattan

New York Chronicles is henrik's running notebook on a city that refuses to sit still. Shot across rooftops, helicopter doorways, subway stairwells and crosstown sidewalks, the series treats Manhattan less as a postcard subject and more as a working set — light, weather and human nerve, all colliding in the same frame. The palette runs warm at street level and cools the higher you climb: terracotta brick and yellow cab against Hudson green, steel blue and pale winter sky. Each frame leans editorial rather than touristic, closer in spirit to a magazine essay than a skyline montage. henrik works with available light, slight haze, and a willingness to keep the human element in the frame — a hand on a railing, sneakers over a void, a stranger in mid-step.
