Nihonbashi Signage — overhead blue road plates pointing toward Sakuradamon and Onarimon, set against a dusk-quiet stretch of mid-rise Tokyo. Two stacked signs in white-on-blue, route 1 marked, distances called out in kilometres. Behind them, a tower with shallow balconies catches the last cool light. Down at street level, a few taxis hold the kerb under a pedestrian overpass — the moment after rush hour, before the neon takes over.
Where other frames in 30 Days in Tokyo head deeper into alley life or close in on a single facade, this one stays back and reads the architecture of way-finding. The signage carries the composition. The crop is upright and honest, the colour cool but not graded out, the geometry doing the heavy lifting. It's the most legible piece in the series — typography, grid, and city working as one image.

How it arrives
Your artwork with an integrated aluminum mounting frame pre-attached to the back, plus a short installation note.
Each piece ships flat in protective packaging designed to handle courier transit without damage.
Integrated floating wall-mount sits slightly off the wall, casting a subtle shadow. Exhibition sizes and up — use a solid interior wall or fittings rated for heavier loads.

Please note: Wall screws, hooks, and dowels are not included. Use fittings appropriate for your wall type (drywall, brick, concrete) and the size you’ve chosen.
Care
Dry microfiber cloth for dust. For stubborn marks, dampen with water or anti-static screen cleaner. Avoid paper towels, ammonia-based cleaners, and abrasives — they scratch the acrylic.
As with any photographic print, prolonged direct sunlight will eventually fade the colors. Hang out of long-duration direct sun where possible.
Hang on a dry interior wall. Bathrooms and other high-humidity rooms aren’t ideal for long-term display.

Tokyo at low light, blue road signs reading like film captions overhead.
30 Days in Tokyo is a month held on film — the city walked, not chased. Each Tokyo street photography print catches a different register of the same metropolis: a rooftop sprawl under soft grey sky, a temple courtyard guarded by a modernist tower, a bilingual sign glowing over an empty crossing at dusk. Frida Fuchs photographs in the patient tradition of Wim Wenders' Tokyo-Ga — less spectacle, more attention. The frames are loose, grain-warm, composed on the move. Negative space is generous. Colour, when it arrives, arrives as a single tungsten window or the faint peach of winter afternoon. There is no drama pushed onto the subject — the city is allowed to be itself. This is work for rooms that prefer low conversation to loud statement — a hallway lined in oak, a writer's desk facing the window, a kitchen that smells of green tea on Sunday afternoon. Thirty days, one lens, a city watched with affection and no hurry.
