More than a Dream #3

More than a Dream is a pop-collage series in a photographic register — torn halftone portraits, cobalt overpaints, the occasional yellow flare and faint ghost of handwriting along the margin. The faces are composite icons, not anyone in particular: a brow here, a parted mouth there, an eye looking past the frame. We layer them the way a teenager once layered magazine cuttings inside a locker door, then push the contrast until the blacks turn velvet and the cream paper holds its grain. The palette stays disciplined — bone white, cobalt, ink black, with a single hot accent that earns its place. The series sits between Warhol's silkscreen logic and a Berlin studio wall mid-edit: glamour treated as raw material, fame deflated into shape and rhythm. Each piece carries one strong gesture and one quieter counter-voice, so the works hang together as a body without repeating themselves. Across the series the tone is confident and a little ironic, more nightclub flyer than gallery hush — work for rooms that already have personality and want something to talk back.
