More than a Dream #1

More than a Dream is our studio's pop-collage series — a set of squared compositions built from torn newsprint, half-tone portraits and flat blocks of cobalt and cadmium yellow. The reference points are obvious and intentional: Warhol's Marilyn screens, the Hamilton-era cut-outs, the early eighties magazine pages where ink bled through cheap paper. We wanted that energy without the nostalgia-tax. Each frame collides several portraits at once, layered until the face becomes a rumour rather than a likeness — eyes from one print, lips from another, a slab of pure pigment cutting across the cheek. The palette stays disciplined: ivory ground, dense black, one or two saturated accents per piece. Built in a photographic and print register through our internal AI workflow, then refined for tonal weight and edge quality. The series rewards a confident wall — a hallway you walk past every morning, a kitchen with good light, a studio that isn't afraid of colour. Hung as a pair or a trio, the pieces start a conversation between themselves.
