Mediterranean is our coastal record — a slow scroll of the European south, taken at the hours that don't make postcards. Empty loungers before the swimmers come down. Painted shutters at midday. The series sits in that particular Mediterranean register: warm light, deep saturated blues, white architecture, a stillness that feels lived rather than staged. Each frame leans on a single coastal motif — the umbrella grid, the harbor wall, the lemon tree, the painted door — and lets it carry the whole image. Color does the heavy lifting. The palette runs from cobalt and Aegean blue through bone-white plaster, sun-bleached wood, and the occasional sharp accent of a striped awning or a folded sail. The compositions are built for living rooms that already breathe — linen sofas, terracotta tile, a quiet wall that has been waiting for something specific. Hung as a single piece or paired across the room, the series brings the slow tempo of the Riviera back to a Berlin or Munich apartment without dressing the place up as a holiday.
