An ethereal portrait wall art print in deep black and white — a young face partially veiled by a hand reaching toward the lens, fingers fanned wide, a single eye holding the gaze through the narrow gap between knuckles. Skin and palm catch a low key light that carves cheekbone, knuckle, lip into clean planes. The mouth stays soft beneath the wrist; the rest sinks into a matte, even black that swallows shoulders and background alike. In the spirit of Paolo Roversi's quieter studio work, the frame keeps its breath and lets the eye do all the speaking.
Where other ghosts in the series turn away from the camera or dissolve into smoke and chiffon, this one looks straight through its own hand. The pose is close, the crop tight, the gesture almost protective rather than theatrical. Nothing is performed for charm — the fingers simply happen to land where the face wants to hide, and the frame trusts that small accident to do the work.

Care
Dry microfiber cloth for dust. For stubborn marks, dampen with water or anti-static screen cleaner. Avoid paper towels, ammonia-based cleaners, and abrasives — they scratch the acrylic.
As with any photographic print, prolonged direct sunlight will eventually fade the colors. Hang out of long-duration direct sun where possible.
Hang on a dry interior wall. Bathrooms and other high-humidity rooms aren’t ideal for long-term display.

Ghosts Within is a study of the face under pressure — portraits where motion blur, light streaks, and long-exposure veils become part of the skin. Each frame sits in deep monochrome, the kind of black that drinks the room and the kind of white that holds onto the cheekbone. We were thinking of Paolo Roversi's Polaroids, of Sarah Moon's hesitations, of fashion images that refuse to settle. The figures here are present and absent at once, half subject and half memory. Some look directly back, some are caught mid-turn, but all of them carry that interior quiet that only happens when the shutter stays open a beat too long. The series is held in a photographic register — close crops, soft key light, an unbothered velvet ground — and lives well in rooms that already know how to be still: a reading corner, a bedroom wall, the dim end of a hallway. Hung together, the pieces talk to each other in whispers. Hung alone, each one keeps its own counsel. Curated in Berlin, printed in Europe on Alu-Dibond as a frameless floating mount.
