Dark Allure is a black-and-white portrait series that lives in the half-second after the music drops — bodies caught between stillness and motion, faces angled into shadow, hair making its own weather. The frames borrow from late-90s fashion editorials, the high-contrast school of Peter Lindbergh and Paolo Roversi: a single hard light, deep tonal blacks, skin holding paper-white highlights without flattening into beauty-print gloss. Each piece in the series stays close to the figure. No props, no narrative scaffolding — just a coat, a breath, a turn of the head. We work in a photographic register: the studio AI workflow renders grain, spill, and lens fall-off the way analogue film would, then the print is finished on Alu-Dibond so the blacks read as true black and the highlights stay clean. The result is editorial without the celebrity gravity, intimate without crossing into soft-focus sentiment. Hung as a single statement or paired across a wall, Dark Allure reads as a conversation between gestures — a series of moments where the subject knows the camera is there and decides, quietly, not to perform for it.
