A character-driven abstract print — A soft pink field is cut by a red arc and a saturated crimson disc, cobalt slabs pressing at the base and a navy half-moon holding the left edge. Pencil arcs drift over the translucent layers — every decision kept visible, drip lines left where they fell, nothing tidied after the fact. The most balanced piece in the Ballouard series .
Powder pink, ivory and sky blue carry the weight of the field, and a single saturated accent steps in to tighten the whole surface. This is the piece where pressure and release meet most evenly — the pink breathes, the crimson presses, and the surface settles at exactly the right point.
A fine art print sealed beneath crystal-clear acrylic, bonded to an aluminum composite backing. The powdery pastels and saturated reds each hold their own register through the acrylic face, pencil marks kept crisp. Six sizes, from Small 30×20 cm to Grand Edition 210×140 cm. Floating aluminum mount included — ready to hang on nails or nylon strings.
Open edition from our Berlin-Mitte studio . Printed in Europe, shipped across the EU. Pairs naturally with oak floors, linen upholstery and a long morning that favours a second coffee and a book left face down on the arm of the chair.

How it arrives
Your artwork with an integrated aluminum mounting frame pre-attached to the back, plus a short installation note.
Each piece ships flat in protective packaging designed to handle courier transit without damage.
Integrated floating wall-mount sits slightly off the wall, casting a subtle shadow. Exhibition sizes and up — use a solid interior wall or fittings rated for heavier loads.
1–2 weeks from order. Each piece is produced on demand.
Please note: Wall screws, hooks, and dowels are not included. Use fittings appropriate for your wall type (drywall, brick, concrete) and the size you’ve chosen.
Care
Dry microfiber cloth for dust. For stubborn marks, dampen with water or anti-static screen cleaner. Avoid paper towels, ammonia-based cleaners, and abrasives — they scratch the acrylic.
As with any photographic print, prolonged direct sunlight will eventually fade the colors. Hang out of long-duration direct sun where possible.
Hang on a dry interior wall. Bathrooms and other high-humidity rooms aren’t ideal for long-term display.

The Series
Ballouard — A Play of Form and Color
Ballouard is composition as breath — pastel fields held together by a single saturated accent. Powder pink, ivory and sky blue carry the weight; a red circle or a navy block steps in and the whole surface tightens. The work reads as a character-driven abstract print, each piece a small act of pressure and release. The studio paints in the lineage of Helen Frankenthaler — soft stained grounds interrupted by deliberate geometry. Pencil arcs drift across the surface. Drip lines are left where they fell. Rectangles overlap in translucent layers, never fully closing the image. What the studio doesn't do is crowd it — the white of the canvas stays part of the composition. These pieces live in rooms that favour linen over velvet. A wide hallway with oak floors. A bedroom where the morning light lands long before anyone moves. They belong to people who like their walls to hold a thought, not shout one — a quiet anchor for afternoons that stretch.
