Abstract Costal Landscape #2 is our wider, warmer cut of the series — a horizon held in horizontal motion blur, where pale sky settles into a thin band of mid-blue, then a deep navy shelf of open water, a clean white surf line, a stripe of wet teal, and finally a generous foreground of sun-warmed sand. The bands don't quite meet; their edges soften into one another the way memory does. There is no surf, no figure, no fixed hour — only the bare grammar of a coast at midday. In a photographic register that nods to Rothko's horizons and the tonal calm of color-field abstraction.
Where #1 ran cooler and tighter, this frame opens up: more sand, more sky, the dark sea-band sitting lower and quieter in the composition. The warmth of the foreground does most of the work here, balanced cleanly against the navy weight at the horizon. It hangs comfortably above a long sofa, a sideboard, or a low bedroom bench.
A premium pigment print on Alu-Dibond, frameless with a floating mount effect. The matte finish gives the bands a clean tonal depth and keeps the blues honest under any light. Sizes from 30×20 cm to 210×140 cm. Curated in Berlin, printed in Europe. Ready to hang. Free EU shipping.

How it arrives
Your artwork with an integrated aluminum mounting frame pre-attached to the back, plus a short installation note.
Each piece ships flat in protective packaging designed to handle courier transit without damage.
Integrated floating wall-mount sits slightly off the wall, casting a subtle shadow. Exhibition sizes and up — use a solid interior wall or fittings rated for heavier loads.
1–2 weeks from order. Each piece is produced on demand.
Please note: Wall screws, hooks, and dowels are not included. Use fittings appropriate for your wall type (drywall, brick, concrete) and the size you’ve chosen.
Care
Dry microfiber cloth for dust. For stubborn marks, dampen with water or anti-static screen cleaner. Avoid paper towels, ammonia-based cleaners, and abrasives — they scratch the acrylic.
As with any photographic print, prolonged direct sunlight will eventually fade the colors. Hang out of long-duration direct sun where possible.
Hang on a dry interior wall. Bathrooms and other high-humidity rooms aren’t ideal for long-term display.

The Series
Five soft bands of horizon held in slow horizontal motion.
Abstract Costal Landscape is our studio's reduction of the European coast to its essential horizontals — sky, water, tideline, sand. The series works in a painterly register, with long horizontal gestures that drag pigment across the surface until detail dissolves and only the bands of color remain. There are no figures, no boats, no architectural cues. The reference is closer to the meditative color-field tradition of Rothko or the soft Atlantic palettes of late Helen Frankenthaler than to any literal seascape. Each frame in the series shifts the proportion: more sky, more sea, a deeper ochre, a cooler grey, a horizon raised or dropped. The palette stays in a quiet conversation between cool blues and warm earths — the chromatic logic of a Mediterranean afternoon or a North Sea morning seen with eyes half-closed. Built for rooms that already work hard: behind a long sofa, above a credenza, in a wide hallway, in a hotel suite that wants air rather than information. The point is not the place. The point is the steady horizontal — a piece of stillness you can hang on a wall.
