30 Days in Tokyo #9 es una escena de vestíbulo de hotel captada en película de 35 mm por Frida — un banco de vinilo verde y una butaca compañera en rosa polvo, marcos de madera curvada color miel, una alfombra estampada en malva que arrastra por el suelo su propia retícula de sombras. El sol de la tarde se cuela por una ventana fuera de cuadro y traza una diagonal nítida sobre los asientos. No hay nadie sentado. La sala piensa sola, en silencio.
Donde otras imágenes de la serie persiguen la calle, esta se queda dentro y deja hablar a un interior de los setenta. El rosa y el verde complementarios se sostienen en tensión; la curva de madera del reposabrazos guía la mirada de la butaca en primer plano hasta el banco al fondo. El grano es honesto, el color es película sin retocar, la geometría está encontrada, no compuesta.
Impresión pigmentada premium sobre Alu-Dibond, sin marco, con efecto de montaje flotante. How it arrives
Your artwork with an integrated aluminum mounting frame pre-attached to the back, plus a short installation note.
Each piece ships flat in protective packaging designed to handle courier transit without damage.
Integrated floating wall-mount sits slightly off the wall, casting a subtle shadow. Exhibition sizes and up — use a solid interior wall or fittings rated for heavier loads.
1–2 weeks from order. Each piece is produced on demand.
Please note: Wall screws, hooks, and dowels are not included. Use fittings appropriate for your wall type (drywall, brick, concrete) and the size you’ve chosen.
Care
Dry microfiber cloth for dust. For stubborn marks, dampen with water or anti-static screen cleaner. Avoid paper towels, ammonia-based cleaners, and abrasives — they scratch the acrylic.
As with any photographic print, prolonged direct sunlight will eventually fade the colors. Hang out of long-duration direct sun where possible.
Hang on a dry interior wall. Bathrooms and other high-humidity rooms aren’t ideal for long-term display.

Thirty days, a 35mm camera, and a city Frida learned by walking.
30 Days in Tokyo is Frida's month-long notebook of the city — shot on 35mm film, walked block by block, returned to the same neighbourhoods at different hours until something gave way. Less a guidebook, more a mood log: the chairs in a hotel lobby at 3pm, a noodle counter through fogged glass, the cold blue of a vending machine on a wet street. Frida is drawn to the in-between Tokyo — the hours when staff are turning the lights up and the city is rehearsing for evening. Colour does the heavy lifting. She lets film grain breathe, leans into the warm pinks and tungsten yellows, and trusts a slow shutter to keep things human. No styling, no staging, no drama imported from outside the frame. The series sits together as a body because every image holds the same patience: a room or a corner observed long enough to start speaking back. Hung as a pair or a wall of three, the frames carry between them like pages from the same notebook, each one a small weather system of light, fabric, and time of day.
