Monte Nero, by frida — a 35 mm Mediterranean wall art print made from inside a long sun-warmed afternoon on the Spanish coast. Two bare knees frame the lower half of the image, the cliff sits dark and weathered on the left, a single yacht hangs at anchor on the right, and a thin chain of yellow buoys cuts across calm navy water. The light is the late-summer kind that flattens nothing and forgives everything.
What sets this frame apart from its siblings in Mediterranean is the body in the picture. The series often points outward at water and stone; here the legs are the doorframe. The eye reads the cliff, the boat, the buoy line, then comes home to the warmth of skin in the foreground — proof that someone is in the day, not just looking at it. Film grain stays soft, colour stays honest, no detail is pushed.

Your artwork with an integrated aluminum mounting frame pre-attached to the back, plus a short installation note.
Each piece ships flat in protective packaging designed to handle courier transit without damage.
Integrated floating wall-mount sits slightly off the wall, casting a subtle shadow. Exhibition sizes and up — use a solid interior wall or fittings rated for heavier loads.
1–2 weeks from order. Each piece is produced on demand.
Please note: Wall screws, hooks, and dowels are not included. Use fittings appropriate for your wall type (drywall, brick, concrete) and the size you’ve chosen.
Care
Dry microfiber cloth for dust. For stubborn marks, dampen with water or anti-static screen cleaner. Avoid paper towels, ammonia-based cleaners, and abrasives — they scratch the acrylic.
As with any photographic print, prolonged direct sunlight will eventually fade the colors. Hang out of long-duration direct sun where possible.
Hang on a dry interior wall. Bathrooms and other high-humidity rooms aren’t ideal for long-term display.

Mediterranean is a series by frida, made on 35 mm film along the coastlines of the Spanish south and the Balearics. The work sits inside a long, slow afternoon: the kind where the salt has dried on your skin twice already and the boats have stopped being something to look at and started being something you simply share the water with. Each frame is shot from inside the day, never above it — a knee, a tiled floor, the rim of a glass, a cliff seen between two ankles. The grain is honest, the colour is what the film gave back, the framing is unstudied on purpose. Together the images read like a roll someone forgot in a drawer for a winter and rediscovered in February, holding a summer that was not quite over. The palette stays steady across the series — deep navy water, tanned skin, sun-bleached stone, the occasional small red of a buoy or a parasol. Quiet pictures from a loud sea.
