Lola Rennt #2 wall art print in saturated violet — a young woman mid-stride through a sunlit city block, hair pulled horizontal by the speed of her own motion, a double-breasted purple coat caught open as she moves. Background facades smear into glass, sky, asphalt; the figure stays sharp at the eye and shoulder, the camera tracking with her at the same pace. A nod to Tom Tykwer's Lola Rennt and to the long-shutter city portraits that came out of nineties European editorial. The light is morning light, low and warm, hitting one side of the coat and leaving the rest in cooler shadow.
Where the opening frame in the series runs against scarlet, this one belongs to violet — a colder, deeper saturation that sits against the green of a glass storefront and the pale concrete of the kerb. The stride is longer here, more committed; the face is set rather than searching. Less sprint, more arrival. The same urgency at a different temperature.
A pigment print on Alu-Dibond, frameless with a floating mount effect. The matte surface holds the violet without flattening it and lets the motion blur stay legible at scale. Sizes from 30×20 cm to 210×140 cm. Curated in Berlin, printed in Europe. Ready to hang. Free EU shipping.

How it arrives
Your artwork with an integrated aluminum mounting frame pre-attached to the back, plus a short installation note.
Each piece ships flat in protective packaging designed to handle courier transit without damage.
Integrated floating wall-mount sits slightly off the wall, casting a subtle shadow. Exhibition sizes and up — use a solid interior wall or fittings rated for heavier loads.
1–2 weeks from order. Each piece is produced on demand.
Please note: Wall screws, hooks, and dowels are not included. Use fittings appropriate for your wall type (drywall, brick, concrete) and the size you’ve chosen.
Care
Dry microfiber cloth for dust. For stubborn marks, dampen with water or anti-static screen cleaner. Avoid paper towels, ammonia-based cleaners, and abrasives — they scratch the acrylic.
As with any photographic print, prolonged direct sunlight will eventually fade the colors. Hang out of long-duration direct sun where possible.
Hang on a dry interior wall. Bathrooms and other high-humidity rooms aren’t ideal for long-term display.

The Series
A violet coat in full stride, the city blurring around her resolve.
Lola Rennt is our running series — a small body of frames built around women in motion through European city light. Each piece holds a different stride: a coat catching wind, hair pulled into a horizontal blur, the pavement sliding underneath while the figure stays steady at the centre. The reference is obvious and unembarrassed — Tom Tykwer's red-haired sprint through late-nineties Berlin, the way that film made urgency feel romantic rather than panicked. We wanted that register. Not the chase, but the resolve. The palette across the series leans into saturated coats — violet, scarlet, ochre — set against the cooler architecture of glass facades, kerbstones, asphalt warmed by low sun. Faces stay readable but never posed. Backgrounds smear; the figure stays. The work sits in a photographic register that nods to Wong Kar-wai's long-shutter cityscapes and to nineties fashion editorial — the soft daylight of that era's magazines, the trust in motion. The aim isn't action. It's the portrait of decisive movement, made for walls that want a little forward energy in the room.
