At the Edge frames the meeting point between a small Greek-island town and the open sea — whitewashed houses lined along a cliff, a single tree leaning into the wind, a tucked cove where a few sunbathers gather on warm rock. The water below works through every blue available to it, from glass-clear shallows near the shore to a deeper teal where the wind cuts the surface. Shot on film by Frida, the frame carries the soft analog grain that gives the southern light its particular weight, and the haze on the far horizon hints at another island just out of reach.
Where other pieces in the Mediterranean series sit close to the water or pull into a fishing village square, this one stays a step back — high enough to see the houses, low enough to feel the surf hit the rock. The composition is vertical for a reason: it gives the cliff its full drop, and lets the sky breathe above the buildings. Hang it where you want a quiet view to walk into rather than past.

How it arrives
Your artwork with an integrated aluminum mounting frame pre-attached to the back, plus a short installation note.
Each piece ships flat in protective packaging designed to handle courier transit without damage.
Integrated floating wall-mount sits slightly off the wall, casting a subtle shadow. Exhibition sizes and up — use a solid interior wall or fittings rated for heavier loads.
1–2 weeks from order. Each piece is produced on demand.
Please note: Wall screws, hooks, and dowels are not included. Use fittings appropriate for your wall type (drywall, brick, concrete) and the size you’ve chosen.
Care
Dry microfiber cloth for dust. For stubborn marks, dampen with water or anti-static screen cleaner. Avoid paper towels, ammonia-based cleaners, and abrasives — they scratch the acrylic.
As with any photographic print, prolonged direct sunlight will eventually fade the colors. Hang out of long-duration direct sun where possible.
Hang on a dry interior wall. Bathrooms and other high-humidity rooms aren’t ideal for long-term display.

The Mediterranean series gathers a slow, sun-bleached register of the southern coast — the kind of afternoons where the air tastes of salt and dry pine, and the light has been bouncing off white walls for so long it goes a little soft at the edges. Frida shoots on film, and the grain holds onto things a digital frame would smooth out: the chalky residue on a stucco wall, the sapphire shift inside a wave, the hard line where shadow meets a sun-warmed cliff. These are not postcards. The series leans into the ordinary middle of a Mediterranean day — a fishing village waking up, a cove that locals know better than the guidebook, a stretch of coast holding its breath between morning and tide. Whitewashed houses, blue water, terracotta, restless surf. The palette is consistent across the series; the mood shifts piece by piece, from wide horizon to intimate detail.
