Among the Sails — a black-and-white coastal print by frida. A swimmer kneels on chalky limestone after a dip, towel folded under, hair still damp, while two catamarans hold position offshore and a small island breaks the horizon. The grain is left untouched and the highlights blow soft — the way summer 35mm actually looks when the sun is straight overhead. Light skips across the water in flat planes, the shadows are short, and the rock around the figure carries every footprint of the morning. Inspired by the loose Mediterranean diaristic register, somewhere between an Antoine D'Agata holiday and a forgotten Slim Aarons negative cooled all the way down.
Where other Mediterranean frames sit further from the water or closer to the boats, this one keeps the figure low and small in the bottom-right, letting the sea do most of the work. The composition is generous with empty space, the boats sit at three different distances, and the eye finds the swimmer last. A piece that reads as breathing room rather than scenery.

How it arrives
Your artwork with an integrated aluminum mounting frame pre-attached to the back, plus a short installation note.
Each piece ships flat in protective packaging designed to handle courier transit without damage.
Integrated floating wall-mount sits slightly off the wall, casting a subtle shadow. Exhibition sizes and up — use a solid interior wall or fittings rated for heavier loads.
1–2 weeks from order. Each piece is produced on demand.
Please note: Wall screws, hooks, and dowels are not included. Use fittings appropriate for your wall type (drywall, brick, concrete) and the size you’ve chosen.
Care
Dry microfiber cloth for dust. For stubborn marks, dampen with water or anti-static screen cleaner. Avoid paper towels, ammonia-based cleaners, and abrasives — they scratch the acrylic.
As with any photographic print, prolonged direct sunlight will eventually fade the colors. Hang out of long-duration direct sun where possible.
Hang on a dry interior wall. Bathrooms and other high-humidity rooms aren’t ideal for long-term display.

A coast in grayscale grain, where boats hold still and the day exhales.
The Mediterranean series gathers a summer that remembers itself in grain. Frames pulled from coastal afternoons — Ibiza, Mallorca, the smaller coves where the road runs out and the rock takes over — printed in honest black and white so the heat shows up as texture instead of color. Sailboats anchored in pale water. A swimmer resting between dives. The chalk-white limestone underfoot, a single dark island floating on the horizon line. Nothing staged. The compositions are loose, the grain is left visible, and the contrast holds the way real Polaroid film does after it has been carried around in a bag for a few days. There is no retouch hiding the tide marks. Each piece in the series sits comfortably alone or in a quiet group of two or three — a coastal wall in a kitchen, a shaded entry hall, a bedroom that wants to remember Spain in February. The intent across the body of work is editorial rather than picturesque: the Mediterranean as daily life, not a postcard. Slow boats. Burned shoulders. The kind of swim you take alone before lunch.
