Wonderland 3 holds a single figure in painted lace — a young woman with ornate white tracery drawn across deep skin, two tall ears of black gauze and wire rising from her crown, an orange lace garment flaring at the shoulder like coral. The face is steady. The eyes don't perform. The masquerade carries itself, and the studio light makes every thread of the headpiece readable against a pale grey ground.
Where other Wonderland frames lean into texture and crowd the head with feathers or floral overgrowth, this one keeps the silhouette clean and lets the painted lace become the whole event. The black-on-skin pattern reads like a second mask underneath the first. The orange at the shoulders is the only warm note in the frame, and it earns its place — a single chord against an otherwise tonal portrait.
A premium pigment print on Alu-Dibond, frameless with a floating mount effect. The deep blacks, paper whites and saffron lace gain a clean tonal depth on the matte aluminium surface. Sizes from 30×20 cm to 210×140 cm. Curated in Berlin, printed in Europe. Ready to hang. Free EU shipping.

How it arrives
Your artwork with an integrated aluminum mounting frame pre-attached to the back, plus a short installation note.
Each piece ships flat in protective packaging designed to handle courier transit without damage.
Integrated floating wall-mount sits slightly off the wall, casting a subtle shadow. Exhibition sizes and up — use a solid interior wall or fittings rated for heavier loads.
1–2 weeks from order. Each piece is produced on demand.
Please note: Wall screws, hooks, and dowels are not included. Use fittings appropriate for your wall type (drywall, brick, concrete) and the size you’ve chosen.
Care
Dry microfiber cloth for dust. For stubborn marks, dampen with water or anti-static screen cleaner. Avoid paper towels, ammonia-based cleaners, and abrasives — they scratch the acrylic.
As with any photographic print, prolonged direct sunlight will eventually fade the colors. Hang out of long-duration direct sun where possible.
Hang on a dry interior wall. Bathrooms and other high-humidity rooms aren’t ideal for long-term display.

Faces painted in lace, theatre held inside a single steady frame.
Wonderland is our studio's quiet theatre — a series of portraits where costume and skin become a single surface, where lace, wire, paint and pigment draw new geographies across the face. Each frame stages a small ceremony: a wig that becomes architecture, a mask that becomes weather, a gesture that becomes a sentence. The palette stays disciplined — deep skin tones, paper whites, the occasional flare of saffron or rust — and the light is always close, even, almost devotional. We were thinking of Iké Udé's tableaus, the slow choreography of editorial fashion at its most patient, the way an Avedon contact sheet treats a face as landscape. Nothing is rushed. Nothing performs for the camera; the camera is simply allowed to watch. The result is a body of work that sits between portrait and ritual, between fashion plate and folk tale — images that ask to be looked at the way you'd look at an icon, not a photograph. Hung together, the Wonderland frames talk to each other in a low, steady voice; on their own, each one holds an entire small story in a single still pose.
