Artista
Henrik Bredenbals
Ericeira Break by Henrik Bredenbals — Portugal's Atlantic coast caught mid-impact, an emerald wave detonating against the seawall while the small whitewashed fish house and its red umbrellas hold their ground. The cliff above carries a row of bleached holiday houses; below, a cobbled ramp leads down to the water and stops where the sea decides. Light is high and slightly hazed, the color of an afternoon that's been out in the salt all day. You can almost hear the bench at the corner of the wall.
Among the Saudade frames this is the loud one — the piece that puts the Atlantic's weight into the room. Where the Nazaré sister-frames lean still and tonal, Ericeira Break holds the contrast: cliff against sea, café calm against open swell, a single instant of spray that the cliff has watched a thousand times. The composition keeps a generous sky, so the wall stays open even at scale.
Premium pigment print on Alu-Dibond, frameless with a floating mount effect. The matte finish keeps the green of the swell honest and lets the warm stone and faded reds breathe. Available from 30×20 cm to 210×140 cm. Photography by Henrik Bredenbals, curated by Berlin Collective. Printed in Europe, free EU shipping, ready to hang.

How it arrives
Your artwork with an integrated aluminum mounting frame pre-attached to the back, plus a short installation note.
Each piece ships flat in protective packaging designed to handle courier transit without damage.
Integrated floating wall-mount sits slightly off the wall, casting a subtle shadow. Exhibition sizes and up — use a solid interior wall or fittings rated for heavier loads.
1–2 weeks from order. Each piece is produced on demand.
Please note: Wall screws, hooks, and dowels are not included. Use fittings appropriate for your wall type (drywall, brick, concrete) and the size you’ve chosen.
Care
Dry microfiber cloth for dust. For stubborn marks, dampen with water or anti-static screen cleaner. Avoid paper towels, ammonia-based cleaners, and abrasives — they scratch the acrylic.
As with any photographic print, prolonged direct sunlight will eventually fade the colors. Hang out of long-duration direct sun where possible.
Hang on a dry interior wall. Bathrooms and other high-humidity rooms aren’t ideal for long-term display.

The Series
Portugal's Atlantic edge — where the day breaks against the seawall and stays.
Saudade is the Portuguese word for a longing that has no end — and this series carries it in every frame. Bredenbals works the coast and its backstreets as Portugal photography wall art that refuses the postcard, finding instead the dust on a surfboard, the pink fade of an Atlantic dusk, the laundry caught mid-breath between two Porto houses. Bredenbals photographs in the tradition of Joel Meyerowitz — available light, unhurried frames, a palette of salt-wash neutrals and faded terracotta. Compositions stay loose; people walk out of focus, sheets flap, distances go soft in the haze. Colour is pulled rather than boosted. Nothing is styled into prettiness, and that restraint is exactly what makes the pictures hold. These prints belong in the kind of flat that smells faintly of coffee and linen — a reading chair near a tall window, an old rug, a late sun falling across parquet. They suit people who travel slowly and remember the weather. An evening print, more than a morning one.
