New York Chronicles is Henrik's slow walk through the city's quieter tells — the corners, cornices, fire escapes and weathered façades that hold more biography than any skyline shot ever could. Shot from low angles and odd vantage points, the series treats Manhattan and the outer boroughs less as an icon and more as a working organism: brick that has seen a century of weather, ironwork still earning its keep, flags and signs that have stopped performing for tourists. The palette stays close to the city's own temperament — slate skies, oxidised reds, the deep blacks of cast iron and shadow.
