Mediterranean is Frida's slow record of the coast — Nice, Liguria, the Côte d'Azur seen in flat morning light. The series moves through the small architecture of summer: striped parasols folded for the night, plastic loungers in tight rows, a horizon interrupted by nothing more than a passing bird. Frida shoots in a register that feels half-remembered, the kind of frame you might keep on your phone for a decade without noticing why. What unites these images is patience. The light is rarely golden. The water is rarely turquoise. Instead there's that flat blue of mid-morning Mediterranean — denser, cooler, more honest. The compositions sit somewhere between travel photography and still life: human spaces caught when the humans are elsewhere. A geometry of leisure, slightly austere. For the print edition, Berlin Collective produces each frame as a pigment print on Alu-Dibond, frameless and floating. The matte finish keeps Frida's restrained color at its true depth — chalky whites, deep navy stripes, the silver-blue of a sea that hasn't yet warmed. Pieces in the series read alone or as a quiet hang, one room of a flat that wants the south without any of the cliché.
