Ghosts Within #3 wall art print in deep black and white — a young woman in a heavy black turtleneck, her face crossed by a sheet of translucent material that bends like water across brow, eye and mouth. A single soft key light catches the curve of her lip, the wet edge of her gaze, the dark wave of her hair lifting into smoke at the crown. The image sits in the still psychological register of Paolo Roversi and the soft tonal weight of Roy DeCarava — present, slightly elsewhere, refusing to be fully there.
Where the other frames in the series let vapor or fabric do the veiling, this one leans on something closer to glass. The distortion is sharper, the silhouette of the face still legible underneath, the eye dead-centre and uninterrupted. The crop is tight enough to feel intimate, loose enough to let the smoke at the hairline read as another texture. Nothing is staged for drama; the quiet does the work.

How it arrives
Your artwork with an integrated aluminum mounting frame pre-attached to the back, plus a short installation note.
Each piece ships flat in protective packaging designed to handle courier transit without damage.
Integrated floating wall-mount sits slightly off the wall, casting a subtle shadow. Exhibition sizes and up — use a solid interior wall or fittings rated for heavier loads.
1–2 weeks from order. Each piece is produced on demand.
Please note: Wall screws, hooks, and dowels are not included. Use fittings appropriate for your wall type (drywall, brick, concrete) and the size you’ve chosen.
Care
Dry microfiber cloth for dust. For stubborn marks, dampen with water or anti-static screen cleaner. Avoid paper towels, ammonia-based cleaners, and abrasives — they scratch the acrylic.
As with any photographic print, prolonged direct sunlight will eventually fade the colors. Hang out of long-duration direct sun where possible.
Hang on a dry interior wall. Bathrooms and other high-humidity rooms aren’t ideal for long-term display.

The Series
A face surfacing through veils of glass and breath.
Ghosts Within is a study of the face under pressure — portraits where motion blur, light streaks, and long-exposure veils become part of the skin. Each frame sits in deep monochrome, the kind of black that drinks the room and the kind of white that holds onto the cheekbone. We were thinking of Paolo Roversi's Polaroids, of Sarah Moon's hesitations, of fashion images that refuse to settle. The figures here are present and absent at once, half subject and half memory. Some look directly back, some are caught mid-turn, but all of them carry that interior quiet that only happens when the shutter stays open a beat too long. The series is held in a photographic register — close crops, soft key light, an unbothered velvet ground — and lives well in rooms that already know how to be still: a reading corner, a bedroom wall, the dim end of a hallway. Hung together, the pieces talk to each other in whispers. Hung alone, each one keeps its own counsel. Curated in Berlin, printed in Europe on Alu-Dibond as a frameless floating mount.
