1970 romanticized views #4 — una terraza en ladera al borde de una piscina turquesa, dos tumbonas de metal rojo aguardando sobre la piedra cálida color crema, y un único ciprés alto sosteniendo el lado derecho del encuadre. Más allá del seto, montañas veladas por la bruma y pequeños tejados de terracota. El cielo está alto, limpio, casi pictórico. Toda la escena queda suspendida en el mediodía, ese instante antes de que alguien vuelva a salir con un vaso de algo frío.
La cuarta pieza de 1970 romanticized views, y la más arquitectónica del conjunto. Donde las anteriores se inclinan hacia figuras y jardines, esta es composición ante todo — ciprés vertical contra piscina horizontal, rojo intenso contra verde frío, piedra en primer plano contra colinas lejanas. La superficie pictórica la mantiene a un paso de lo fotográfico, como una villa recordada que nunca llega a resolverse en una dirección real. Inspirada en los registros estivales y serenos de las piscinas de Hockney y en la paleta apagada del sur de Francia en el cine de Eric Rohmer.

Each piece ships flat in protective packaging designed to handle courier transit without damage.
Integrated floating wall-mount sits slightly off the wall, casting a subtle shadow. Exhibition sizes and up — use a solid interior wall or fittings rated for heavier loads.
1–2 weeks from order. Each piece is produced on demand.
Please note: Wall screws, hooks, and dowels are not included. Use fittings appropriate for your wall type (drywall, brick, concrete) and the size you’ve chosen.
Care
Dry microfiber cloth for dust. For stubborn marks, dampen with water or anti-static screen cleaner. Avoid paper towels, ammonia-based cleaners, and abrasives — they scratch the acrylic.
As with any photographic print, prolonged direct sunlight will eventually fade the colors. Hang out of long-duration direct sun where possible.
Hang on a dry interior wall. Bathrooms and other high-humidity rooms aren’t ideal for long-term display.

A Mediterranean afternoon held still, the way memory keeps it.
1970 romanticized views is our studio's slow look back at a postcard decade — Provence, the Ligurian hills, a Mallorca that no longer entirely exists. Painterly in register, slightly faded at the edges, lit the way memory lights things rather than the way the sun actually did. The series moves between cypress lines, hand-tiled pools, terracotta roofs, gravel terraces with metal chairs left where the last guest stood up. Skies stay generous. Color sits warm and a little sun-bleached, the palette of a holiday photograph that has been on the kitchen wall for forty years. Each frame in the series is composed like a small stage set: one or two human props, a horizon, a strong vertical, and a foreground that invites you to sit. There is no nostalgia argument being made here, no ironic distance — just the steady pleasure of a midday that wasn't trying to be anything other than itself. Hung together, the pieces read as a quiet European summer; hung alone, each one carries the whole feeling of an afternoon you half-remember.
